Registration Information

Registration available on-site!
Pre-meeting registration will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 8:00-15:00 at the Engineering Center (University of Colorado), and then from 16:00-21:00 at the Embassy Suites (2601 Canyon Blvd.). The main registration for onsite participants will be in the Engineering Center main lobby from 07:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday, January 10, and will continue during the remainder of the meeting.

Please be sure to have all of your information and the payment method ready prior to clicking the "Register Now" button, as you will need to complete your registration.

Registration will be required to attend and participate in the conference. Registration fees will be required from all participants including URSI officials, session chairs, authors, and attendees. The registration fee includes the 50th Anniversary banquet dinner on Wednesday, January 10 (cash bar), attendance at all sessions (except for the Tuesday pre-conference workshops / short courses), and refreshment breaks. Note that a printed version of the program will NOT be distributed, but a PDF version that includes links to all abstracts will be made available prior to the start of the meeting.

Every accepted abstract / summary must have a least one registered author (registration fees are listed below).  Any abstract / summary without a fully paid registration fee by Tuesday, January 2, 2024 WILL BE REMOVED from the conference and will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore. 

Important Notes: When registering make sure to (1) input your name and email address exactly as it appears on the submission confirmation, (2) input the abstract / summary number(s).

Please note that the University of Colorado does not accept purchase orders. If we have no record of payment when the conference begins, we will require payment at that time. We cannot bill for registration fees.

Anyone needing an 889 Form signed/completed please send it to nrsmboulder@colorado.edu. (Please submit your request by December 21 as the University will closed December 25-30.)

*The member rate is reserved for those attendees who are a member (Full Member, Associate Member, or Early Career Member) of one or more Commissions of USNC-URSI. If you wish to apply for membership in a commission of USNC-URSI, please go to the online application form. Applying for membership before registering for the meeting is sufficient to allow you to register at the member rate.

**Attention Students: If you are the first author and presenter of an accepted paper, you are eligible to apply for student support. The application deadline is Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Click here for the Student Support Application. Once you apply, please do not register for the conference until you have been notified about receiving the award. We anticipate making the award decisions no later than Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

For All Attendees: Each USNC-URSI Commission will hold a business meeting during NRSM. All attendees - and especially students - are welcome to participate in any Commission business meeting that may be of interest. No registration is required for the business meetings.

Early Registration
All attendees are encouraged to register online for the conference during the early registration period, when the registration fees are lower. Online registration is available during the early and regular registration periods. Payment may be made by check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Regular Registration
Online registration is also available during the regular registration period, though the fees are higher. After the end of the regular registration period, online registration for in-person attendance will close 11:59 pm Friday, December 29, 2023 (Mountain Time). Thereafter, registration will only be accepted onsite (see below). The onsite registration instructions are the same as for online registration.

Onsite Registration

Changes
If you need to make any changes to your registration, you can do so by clicking the "Modify Registration" button at the bottom of this page. Please note in order to change your original Registration Category you will need to email conferences@colorado.edu for this change.  

You will then be prompted to enter the email address you used to register as well as the Reference Number that can be found on your Registration Confirmation page. This will take you directly to the first page of the registration site.  Use the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page to advance through teh registration, making necessary modifications.

You can make modifications to your own registration up until December 10th. After December 10 you must email conferences@colorado.edu for assistance with making any changes. 

Cancellations/Refund
There will be no refunds starting December 11, 2023. Cancellation requests must be sent to conferences@colorado.edu. Refunds granted before December 11 will be assessed a $100 processing fee. Students and retirees will receive a full refund if canceled before December 11. Due to costs incurred by USNC-URSI prior to the conference, unforeseen events prohibiting travel will not be sufficient cause for refund.
